Book a Denver Drag Tour, take a trip through time visualizing the trials and tribulations of the LGBTQ+ pioneers and settlers. From the original saloons along the historic red-light district to the legendary airmen parties at Mary’s Tavern, the imprint of Denver’s most fabulous community is as lasting and obvious as the rocky mountains.

Ride alongside Colorado’s most famous queens, dazzling and hilarious guides through the storied history of social equality in Denver. Explore the past, present and future, visiting the sites of former community centers as well as the hottest bars and clubs today and concluding in the fastest growing neighborhoods of tomorrow.
The Denver Drag Tour begins at Hamburger Mary’s. We drive through the River North (RiNo) neighborhood, through Lower Downtown (LoDo) and cross 16th st mall. We continue down broadway, through Capitol Hill to Cheeseman Park. We visit the former site of the Pit, Mary’s Tavern and The First Metropolitan Community Church. We enjoy plenty of drinks on the bus, photo ops in front of iconic Denver gay and lesbian bars and clubs and conclude with a wildly entertaining game show at Hamburger Mary’s with the one-and-only Mona Lott!
Our Denver Drag tour is a party bus adventure exploring the rich past, present and future of GLBTQ+ community led by a dazzling and hilarious Denver Queen. This tour includes transportation, entertainment, plenty of drinks and light snacks on the bus and a cocktail at the end. This experience is open to the public but you must be over 21 to enjoy samples from our partners.
Tours run Wednesday through Saturday throughout the year, and all tours begin inside of Hamburger Mary’s located at 1336 E 17th Ave, Denver, CO 80218. Advanced booking is required.

Do I need a Photo ID?
Yes, all participants need to keep a photo ID on themselves at all times
Can I bring a cooler?
Yes, and you can buy your own drinks, although we provide plenty to drink, including samples, tastings and drinks on the bus.
Do you provide any food?
Some tours include food, including the Mile Highlights and Brunch tours, but it is always advised to eat before a drinking tour
How do we find the tour guide?
Please refer to the follow up email. Your guide will wear a blue-collared shirt and typically meet near the front entrance of any venue or by the most central public benches when meeting at a park. You can also see photos of your guides below.
Do I need to Dress up?
It always makes for better photographs if you do, but dress in drag is not required
What happens if we are running late?
Your guide will remain at the meeting location for 15 minutes, otherwise refer to the email to send a text message.
Returns & Cancellations
Cancellation/Refund Policy All Tour Tickets are Non-Refundable Rescheduling can be done with at least One Week’s Notice, but there will be a rebooking fee of $10/guest Expired third-party tickets are good for the amount originally paid, but once scheduled cannot be rescheduled for another day There are only Two Exceptions to this Policy 1.) Denver Brews and Booze determines the weather to be too severe for touring 2.) The group minimum is not met (bus tours require a minimum of 6 guests)
